Priority neighbourhoods project

What are priority neighbourhoods?

The priority neighbourhoods project started in 2021, with the aim of working with communities to help improve the neighbourhoods. These areas are chosen based on a number of factors, including higher reports of antisocial behaviour and fly-tipping.

The priority neighbourhoods project teams incorporate colleagues from neighbourhoods, involvement and communities, caretaking and supported housing.

The priority neighbourhoods for 2021-2022 were Studley Green in Trowbridge and Queensway in Melksham. The second phase of this project will run from 2023 to 2024 and will deliver a program of activities working with local partners for Westbury and Warminster.
