Only permitted where there is a dedicated car parking space within the boundary of the property. Not permitted where parking is shared or if the vehicle to be charged has to be parked outside the boundary of the property.
An Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) must be issued when work is done to wiring in your home. This is the law. You will need to ask a qualified electrician to carry out the work. They will provide you with an EIC when the job is complete and you will need to send us a copy of the certificate.

No, not allowed for the first 12 months. In new homes the builder is responsible for fixing any problems that occur in the first 12 months after you've moved in. There are some alterations that we can't allow during this period because it would invalidate this arrangement and the builder would no longer be responsible for any repairs. After 12 months you will be able to apply for permission for the alteration.
