On Thursday 8 May, Selwood Housing joined nearly 30 employers at the first-ever Trowbridge Jobs Fair. Almost 600 job seekers from across the South West attended the four-hour event and our staff enjoyed meeting with many of them.
The Trowbridge Jobs Fair was a huge success, bringing together 28 employers from across the region in various industries. As well as Selwood Housing, exhibitors included local councils, ambulance and fire services, schools, care homes and security services.
Our staff had a brilliant day speaking to people about who we are, what we do, the types of roles we offer and apprenticeships. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase careers at Selwood Housing and to raise our profile as an employer in the local community. Staff also had the chance to network with other exhibitors and build connections with local companies.
