Wiltshire’s local counselling services, Help are delighted that with the support of Selwood Housing and other funders, they have been able to establish new counselling rooms in Melksham and Chippenham and therefore help even more clients than ever before.
Many of the people in these areas (Chippenham East/Melksham Forest) are experiencing significant hardship and life challenges, and Help Counselling Services are seeing first-hand what a difference a course of counselling can make. They are so grateful for the grant that Selwood Housing donated towards their Melksham Counselling Rooms.

We’ve seen clients who were struggling to reconnect with hope, purpose, and community. Mental health is such a massive contributing factor to so many other inequalities, such as staying in work, building and maintaining relationships, keeping a home, and contributing to a community. Help are so passionate about looking for ways to make mental health part of a holistic picture of equality, and with support they can keep working towards a better future for our local communities in West Wiltshire.
