A fresh new look for TheHub@BA15 advice centre

TheHub@BA15 have given thanks to Selwood Housing’s generous funding, and have now been able to purchase new office furniture for their food bank and advice centre.

TheHub@BA15 is part of Bradford-on Avon’s warm space initiative, where they provide advice and support, access to computers and the food bank.

The new furniture offers a modern, clean and efficient area for community members. This increases a sense of well-being, trust and confidence for clients as well as enhancing the professional ambience of the premises.

Along with the new furniture, the funding received enabled them to purchase additional Christmas items to add to their food packs which are delivered to, or collected by, their clients. Selwood Housing have been able to help through their generous financial sponsorship of this project.

Angela, a volunteer at the hub, said:

“We feel good filling the food boxes and adding small Christmas gifts, toys, chocolates and sweets, imagining the joy these items bring to families whose lives are a struggle.”

Ann, a community member, said:

“Absolutely amazing place. The Hub helped me to turn my life around. I am always welcome here.”
