Platinum Court

One year on!

Staff from our development team, along with our involvement and communities team, recently met with residents at Platinum Court (previously the John Bull in Trowbridge) to hear their views on living in these homes one year on.

Completed in May 2023, the Platinum Court development in Studley Green, Trowbridge is a mix of affordable rented and shared ownership homes with EPC 'A' rating, making them more affordable for the residents to heat along with a lower carbon footprint.

Feedback has been positive! We've shared some of the key points raised by customers below:

You saidWe did
Better use of space to provide more storage.Where possible we will extend the space in the cupboard under the stairs, rather than boarding it up.
A better layout upstairs to improve the size of the main bedroom. We will work with our architect to increase the size of bedroom one, by reducing the space over the stairs in two-bed properties.
Garden layout could be better planned, especially the shed position. We will spend more time on garden layouts and discuss shed positions with the builders.
The car parking was confusing for both residents and visitors, the spaces don’t align to the house they belong to.If manageable, we will align car parking spaces to the relevant plots.
It would be useful to have details or tester pots for the paint used for touching up marks easily. We will provide information on paint brand and colour used in the homes and will encourage the builders to leave match pots.

Pity you didn't help.your tenants

Same old dribble from Selwood Housing here. What they don't understand is the amount of time we have all reached out for something and they don't listen.

Tuesday is the deadline for customers to contribute to our 2024 Customer conversation. We use the results of these three-yearly surveys to create effective and appropriate involvement opportunities for our customers. We will also share them with the rest of the organisation so that all of our services can continue to be developed with the customer in mind. We had a great response to our last all-customer survey. I don't think us men quite get what a physically, mentally challenging time this can be for a woman, watching my wife go though this is horrible, so I can't even imagine what it's like for her. Great to see your brining this awareness out there. Xxxx
