The workshops that the scrutiny team co-hosted on planned programmes included presentations from the group operations director and her team to share all requested details and ensure the attendees were fully informed about the process. The scrutiny team and the other customers attending then agreed a set of recommendations.
These recommendations then formed part of the scrutiny team’s report, along with a desk-based review into the letters that are sent to customers when works are planned on their homes.
The report and recommendations was shared with the director and her team. Of the seven recommendations, five have been approved/partially approved, two are under consideration and an action plan is in place. The scrutiny team and property team are jointly working towards all of these actions, before taking the report to board in March 2025.
