Why is Investors in People an important accreditation for us?

Our people are our most important asset. They not only deliver essential services, but they build relationships, they live in and know our communities, they innovate, and they keep our customers safe.

Investors in People provides us with a way to measure how we are supporting and developing our people and to ensure we continually develop and innovate in this area in line with our business strategy.

Who are Investors in People and what do they do?

Investors in People (IiP) help organisations develop workplace practices that support staff. They do this via an in-depth assessment every three years, which asks employees for their honest and anonymous feedback via surveys and interviews.

Organisations meeting the IiP benchmarks are awarded an accreditation, such as silver, gold or platinum.
