What we do

Selwood Housing Group

Selwood Housing Group is a charitable social enterprise based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

We are a group of businesses working together to improve homes and communities.

The Selwood Housing Group is made up of Selwood Housing, Selwood Devco and Cottsbury Homes.

Selwood Housing is a not-for-profit housing association with over 7,000 homes for rent at affordable prices in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset. We also offer shared ownership, and other schemes to provide a wide variety of homes for people living in our communities.

Selwood Housing is a significant provider of care homes across Wiltshire. We own and manage registered care homes and supported living schemes, for people with learning and physical disabilities. These homes or schemes support people with a range of needs, from those who require specialist, continuous care, to people who can live independently with support. We work with a range of partners, and work closely with Wiltshire Council to ensure our properties continue to meet the specialist needs that the services are designed for.

We work to improve the homes and communities of our residents.

Selwood Devco is a subsidiary of Selwood Housing and is a construction company that contracts with builders and consultants.

Cottsbury Homes develops and sells homes at market value. Profit made from the sale of these properties is reinvested into providing affordable social housing. Cottsbury Homes is wholly owned by Selwood Housing.

We are inviting customers to join our next focus group, reviewing our tenancy fraud policy.
Tackling tenancy fraud helps us to provide an effective housing service, as this type of fraud affects how we can manage our properties, including dealing effectively with anti-social behaviour or repairs issues. It also affects our finances in terms of reclaimed benefit payments where these have been paid fraudulently. If you would like to join us in reviewing this policy, you are invited to our offices in Trowbridge on Wednesday 4th September 10am - 12pm.

Join Wiltshire Wildlife Trust this summer for some community action and fun wildlife evenings.

Lend a hand and learn about wildlife on the following dates:
👉Friday 16th August at 7 - 9.30pm - Litter Pick & Moth Trap Night
👉Friday 30th August at 7 - 9.30pm - Community Clear Up & Bat Walk
👉Meet at Studley Green Community Association, Lambrok Road, BA14 9HA and do wear your wellies!

Here's a great summary of a project they recently ran with some of our residents at Manor Court, alongside Studley Green Primary School. Their sessions are engaging and valuable for all the community, so we'd highly recommend getting involved if you can!
